SEM Characterization of a Presolar Silicate and Presolar Oxide Grain in sample OREX-501018-100

Author

Kathie Thomas-Keprta

Description

Scanning electron microscope (SEM) analyses of a ferromagnesian presolar silicate grain and an Al-bearing presolar oxide grain in OREX-501018-100. The dataset contains SEM Backscatter Electron (BSE) images, X-ray element maps and Energy Dispersive X-ray (EDX) spectra of two presolar grains pressed into high purity Au foil.
