Description
The NanoSIMS-HR in the Kuiper-Arizona Laboratory For Astromaterials Analysis (K-ALFAA) at the University of Arizona was used to search for isotopically anomalous presolar grains and organics in sample OREX-501080-0. We acquired concurrent raster ion images of 12C, 13C, 16O, 17O, 18O, 12C14N, and 12C15N isotopes in multicollection mode using chain analysis. For the sample, seven isotope maps were collected for 10 x 10 micrometer fields of view within 12 x 12 um presputtered areas. A terrestrial kerogen was used for tuning and as reference material for N isotopes.
