Description

This study investigates the small particle-particle cohesion of the Bennu particles at the micron scale. These measurements are then used in strength modeling to more accurately predict the bulk strength of Bennu. AFM particle-particle cohesion test with AFM tip OREX- 803313-0 on samples OREX- 803353-0, OREX-803356-0, OREX-803358-0, OREX-803360-0. ORE 803361-0. OREX-803362-0 Performed in nitrogen purged glovebox at 0% RH. Particles were heated before testing to ~103 deg C for 20-30 mins and cooled for the same in the purged atmosphere.
