Description

STEM imaging of FIB section OREX-501017-100. Images show vesiculated melt deposits with embedded nanoparticles, evidence for micrometeoroid impacts. EELS analyst is performed at the vesiculated boundary and vesiculated interface, as indicated in the image. The sample is composed of a melt deposit, overlying fine-grained phyllosilicates, magnetite, carbonates, etc. EELS analyses indicate the detection of He in the sample.
