Ferroan Anorthosite 60025 Major Element Analysis of Pyroxene and Olivine

Authors

Michael A TorciviaClive Neal

Description

Major element data from pyroxene and olivine cores from thin sections of lunar sample 60025. Data were taken using a CAMECA SX-50 electron probe located at the University of Notre Dame Materials Characterization Facility under the guidance of Dr. Ian Steele and Dr. Karl Cronberger. Data are used for better characterizing the mineral components for this specific ferroan anorthosite sample which provide insight into the petrologic history of the this sample and the first lunar crust.
